Iowa Scores BIG at National Finals Rodeo

Iowa is known for more than corn and friendly, hardworking Midwesterners.  Iowa is at the top of the list in Professional Rodeo… who would know!!!  Making their way back from Las Vegas and the National Finals Rodeo is Boxholm, Iowa’s Wade Sundell and Bernard, Iowa’s “best in the business bucking horse producer” Three Hills Rodeo!

Wade Sundell, 2 time National Finals Saddle Bronc Contestant, has an enormous list of accolades including winning the 2011 Million Dollar Tour Finale in Omaha, NE and being the  2010 runner up to the World to just name a few!  This January he wants to add World’s Toughest Rodeo Champ to the list!  It’s a once in a lifetime chance to see such a talented, young, all-around good cowboy make music in his saddle and smile at the fans!

Also making their way to the Wells Fargo Arena, is the award-winning livestock from Three Hills Rodeo!  This year 7 horses and 2 bulls made the trek out to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas in December from Bernard, IA.  All home raised on the ranch in Bernard, Iowa, Three Hills has made a name for themselves with their nationally recognized Born to Buck program. As always, the finals proved to be another successful trip as Bareback Bronc bucking horse; Mama Mia was awarded 3rd best bronc of the entire lineup at the National Finals!  Winning buckles and bucking off World Champions was just in another day’s work for these animal athletes!  So don’t forget, the World’s Toughest Rodeo rides into the Wells Fargo Arena, January 13th and 14th. The Free Pre-Show begins each night at 6:00pm and the action with the some of the world’s best athletes starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are available now online at www.dahlstickets.com or at the arena box office.  For more information about the World’s Toughest Rodeo visit www.wtrodeo.com or contact Marla Morehead at thr@threehillsrodeo.com or by phone 563-652-3326.
